THE STRUCTURED CABLING SYSTEM CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING COMPONENTS

  • Local Area Network Cabling Infrastructure: This network-cabling infrastructure design uses a star topology that includes backbone cabling and horizontal cabling. It also incorporates various telecommunications cabling
paths and spaces. The services of design-engineering are required to determine the best route for cable conveyance through buildings, in accordance with applicable installation standards and project requirements.
  • Backbone Cabling – As a minimum design includes indoor-outdoor, riser
rated hybrid multi-mode/single-mode fiber optic cable. To provide backbone
connectivity between network distribution frames, connectors, distribution
panels and ferrules are included in the design. Drawings and calculations are
provided by the designer to illustrate distance limitations.

  • Horizontal Cabling – Typically, each data outlet consists of one Category 6 cable or four fiber optic cables.

  • Structured Cabling Design includes a minimum of one Main Distribution Frame (MDF). Depending upon the size of the facility, one or more Intermediate Distribution Frames (IDFs), Local Distribution Frames (LDF) and one Limited Distribution Cabinet (LDC) could be planned. Telecommunications spaces should be located in secure areas with proper ventilation, HVAC, power, lighting, and grounding. MDFs and IDFs shall accommodate horizontal and backbone cabling termination equipment including: 19-inch free standing racks, wall-mounted racks, or cabinets, patch panels, vertical and horizontal wire management, patch cables, ladder racking, conduit sleeves, and data electronics. Also, MDF shall be located as close to the Minimum Point of Entry (MPOE) as practical.

wiring services includes:

  1. Network & Data Cabling – We design and configure systems of seamless communication and integration between IT devices, using fibre optic, cat 5e and cat6 cables.
  2. Communications Cabling – For integration of in-office landline telephones.
  3. Structured Cabling – We use industry standardized layouts for office backbone connections using fibre optic, CAT5e and CAT6e cables.
  4. Server Rack Cabling – Labeled and professionally organized cabling that revolves around data center racks.
  5. Cable and Wiring Repair Services – Diagnosis and repair of problems, as well as upgrades and enhancements of existing cabling systems.

KVR Enterprises, provides fiber optic cable installation to help your business get online. Because fiber can run at higher speeds and is longer than Category cables, it is increasingly preferred for structured cabling. Fiber is also more durable and easier to terminate thanks to recent technological advances. This provides additional future proofing for network construction. The national network of experienced field technicians and Project Managers can plan, design, and install networks made of only fiber. This includes fiber to the desk applications and a mixture of copper and fiber networks. We can maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade your system as necessary once it is installed. We offer services for installations between buildings and aerials, as well as underground installations. These can be done in distances of several hundred feet to a few miles. Our services include on-site terminations of multi-strand fiber to help you get your business connected.

We will help you to identify which type of fiber should run.

Fiber optic splicing

Fiber optic splicing allows two fiber optic cables to be joined together. This is usually done when a fiber optic cable is accidentally cut or when it is necessary to lengthen the cable. Fiber optics are vital for keeping homes and businesses connected all over the globe. Fiber optics are made up of small glass or fiber strands and transmit data to increase bandwidth signals. Fiber optics are vital to the infrastructure of our telecommunications network. Technology is not a luxury, but a necessity. Fiber optic splicing is crucial to meet the demands of rapid infrastructure growth in our country. Splicing is essential for those responsible for building our infrastructure. They install fiber optics across the country and would struggle to complete their jobs without it.
